We are currently hiring support staff for our PBS team.

Job Overview:
As a PBS support worker, you will be an integral part of the team that helps individuals with a range of mental health diagnoses, learning disabilities, and/or ASD. Your primary role will be to assist these individuals in maintaining their independence in their homes, as well as supporting them to lead vibrant and active lives.
To be successful in this position, you will be required to complete daily reports, and contribute to the development and implementation of risk assessments, behavioral support plans, positive approaches, and behavioral analysis. Building positive relationships with the individuals you support is key to helping them achieve their goals and outcomes.
As an ideal candidate, you must possess a range of qualities, including passion, empathy, patience, and positivity. You should be resilient, confident, supportive, sensitive, and, above all, committed to meeting the needs of our service users.

The following are the specifications for the ideal candidate:
Has experience and expertise in working with individuals who have learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors
Has worked in a multi-disciplinary team before
Has excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Can work flexible hours, including sleep and wake nights
Possesses effective conflict resolution skills
Is reliable and trustworthy
Can work independently
Can work efficiently even under pressure while keeping a calm demeanor
Has the desire to work towards additional qualifications, such as an NVQ 3.
Work environment: Individuals own homes located in the Thanet area
PBS Support Workers will need to be flexible and shifts will require days/evenings/nights and weekends.
